Coach Stryker Aguilar grew up in Phoenix and is a product of the Arizona youth soccer system. In his younger years, he played for well-known Phoenix teams, including Cisco Kickers, Paradise Valley Shamrocks, Santos FC 6 and Cisco Xcel.

Coach Manny De La Rosa grew up in West Phoenix and has been playing soccer in Arizona since the age of five.

​Coach Ron Sherron grew up playing multiple sports competitively in the north Phoenix area. He played club soccer with the Paradise Valley Shamrocks and the Sereno Golden Eagles.

Coach Joseph Broderick grew up in Phoenix. He went to St. Mary’s High School and continued his education at Arizona State University where he is part of the elite inaugural graduating class of WP Carey School of Business.

Coach Corbett Hess has coached all ages and many of his players have gone on to play competitively at the collegiate and professional levels. He started his coaching career working under and alongside Luis Dabo for nine years.

Coach Max Pasillas grew up in Phoenix and began playing competitive soccer at the age of 11.

Coach Sabrina Willis grew up in Southern California playing club soccer for Anaheim Futbol Club. 

She started her first collegiate year at Golden West Community College where she received MVP honors and Conference First Team All-League. 

Coach Whellyn Carroll grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He grew up playing for local sides before venturing to pursue a soccer career in Scotland where he spent two years trying to make it until being offered to come to America.

Coach Amber Svalstedt began her soccer career playing in the State of Washington at the age of 5 developing a passion for the game.

Coach Carmen Esnal grew up playing soccer right here in the Valley at Alhambra High School, South Mountain Community College and Grand Canyon University. 

Coach Keith Konetzni grew up in Libertyville, IL and has been an avid soccer player since starting the sport at 4 years old. 

Coach Diego Aguilar is the only coach on staff who has gone through Excel Soccer Academy’s system from beginning to end. He has played at the highest level of club soccer for 14 years.
